Federal College of Education, Zaria Announces NELFUND Student Loan Application Procedure

The Federal College of Education, Zaria, has provided details on how students can apply for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND). 

To apply for the loan, students should follow these steps:

1. Visit the NELFUND Website: Access the portal at [nelfgovng](http://nelfgovng).

2. Initiate Application: Click on "Apply Now" and select "Get Started."

3. Complete Form: Answer the questions, choose "I am a Nigerian," and upload required details.

4. Verify Educational Information: Confirm your educational details and verify with JAMB by entering your JAMB information.

5. Create an Account:Register by providing your email address, password, and confirming the password. Click "Create Account" and follow the email verification link sent to you.

6. Login and Update Profile:Log in, then update your contact details, including phone number and address. Proceed to update your educational details and verify your BVN by entering your bank information.

7. Request Loan: Click "Request for Student Loan," choose the type of loan (upkeep or institutional charge), and upload necessary documents. Agree to the policy and terms, then submit your application.

8. Check Application Status: Monitor your application status under the "Loans" section.
