The Federal Polytechnic Ugep is a Federal institution established by the Federal Government in 2021. It has two campuses (Campus 1 located along Ugep-Ediba road, Ugep and Campus 2 by Calabar - Ikom Highway, Ugep) in Cross River State.

Federal Polytechnic Ugep Admission Form for 2023/2024 Session

The Federal Polytechnic Ugep is a Federal institution established by the Federal Government in 2021. It has two campuses (Campus 1 located along Ugep-Ediba road, Ugep and Campus 2 by Calabar - Ikom Highway, Ugep) in Cross River State. 

The institution is meant to be a leading citadel of learning that will excel in the training of middle and high cadre manpower especially in Industrial, Scientific, Managerial and Entrepreneurial Skills through creativity and innovation for sustainable development.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

Prospective Candidates who wrote the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Scored 100 or above are eligible to apply for admission into the following National Diploma (ND) programs offered by the 

institution:

1. Computer Engineering

2. Computer Science

3. Statistics 

Such candidates must have met the Minimum Admission Requirements of five O’ Level Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two of either Chemistry, Geography, Biology or Computer studies in not more than two sittings.

METHOD OF ADMISSION

Candidates are to go to JAMB website and change to the Federal Polytechnic Ugep as their first choice Institution.

POST UTME SCREENING EXERCISE

Candidates who have met the above requirements and have changed to the Federal Polytechnic Ugep as their first choice institution will be required to report at Campus 1 from 4th to 15th December, 2023 for the Post UTME screening exercise.

Candidates are expected to come with the following documents (originals and photocopies) for the screening exercise

1 O'level results (WAEC, NECO, etc. with scratch card applicable to each result)

2 Certificate of birth or Age declaration. 

3 Certificate of Local Government origin. 

4 Evidence of payment of non-refundable screening fee of two thousand naira (# 2000) only paid at the bursary unit of the institution.
