Federal University Gashua Students Honor Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan with Award of Excellence
The Student Union President highlighted the necessity of honoring Lawan, stating, "It has become necessary to honour you in our own little way, Sir, considering the development projects you have brought to our institution that makes it extraordinarily different among its equals."

Students of the Federal University Gashua (FUGA) have presented an Award of Excellence to former Senate President Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, PhD, GCON, in recognition of his significant contributions to education and development in his constituency and the nation.
The Student Union President highlighted the necessity of honoring Lawan, stating, "It has become necessary to honour you in our own little way, Sir, considering the development projects you have brought to our institution that makes it extraordinarily different among its equals."
In his response, Lawan expressed gratitude for the award and emphasized his commitment to continuing projects that positively impact the community, particularly in education. "We have come a long way, and we will continue to support our youth to have access to quality education as well as empowerment programmes for self-reliance," he stated.
