Federal University Lokoja Welcomes New Pro-Chancellor and Governing Council

The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, has congratulated Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba on his appointment as Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council.

The appointment was announced by the Federal Government of Nigeria, and Professor Akinwumi described it as well-deserved.

The meeting between Professor Akinwumi and Senator Ndoma-Egba marked the beginning of a new chapter for FUL, which is set to usher in its 4th Governing Council. The new council includes eminent Nigerians with proven track records of outstanding service to the nation.

Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, the erstwhile Majority Leader of the Senate and ex-Board Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), will lead the council. Other distinguished external members include Hon. Adegboyega Basheer, Hon. Abubakar Abbas Dogara Wamba, Agboola Mojeed Olayiwola, and Ibrahim Haruna Gaidam.
