Federal University of Technology, Babura Warns of Fake Recruitment Notice

The management of the Federal University of Technology, Babura (FUTB) has issued a public alert warning of a fake recruitment notice circulating on social media.

The notice, which claims to be from the university, requests individuals to send their Curriculum Vitae (CV) to a WhatsApp number for a "Teaching Appointment". However, the university has denied any involvement in the notice, stating that it did not emanate from the institution.

The university's registrar, Fatima Binta Mohammed, has warned the public that anyone who responds to the fake notice does so at their own risk. The FUTB emphasized that it is not currently recruiting staff and that any future vacancies will be filled through due process, not through social media.
