The Minister of Transportation, Sa'idu Alkali, in a statement during the ceremony, emphasized the importance of the institution in providing opportunities for youth to develop themselves. "The university has commenced its inaugural academic session with an enrollment of over 600 students, pursing studies in various disciplines including transportation engineering, management, logistics, security, and economy, having gained admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)." TVC reported.
