The Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), has categorically denied claims of offering HND-Degree conversion admissions for the 2023 academic year. This comes in response to a recent wave of rumours and false information circulating on social media and other platforms, causing confusion among prospective students and the general public.

The University's management has taken this opportunity to clarify its admission policies and to stress that it does not offer HND-Degree conversion programs. The statement issued by FUOYE's Registrar,

Mr Mufutau Adeshina Ibrahim, emphasized that the aforementioned claims were not from any of the University sources and hence, unauthentic.

The false claims surrounding the HND-Degree conversion admissions had caused confusion and anxiety among many applicants who were allegedly led to believe that they could convert their Higher National Diplomas (HNDs) into university degrees at FUOYE.
