FUKASHERE Announces Date for 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony
The Federal University of Kashere (FUKashere), Gombe State, has announced that its matriculation ceremony for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 Academic Session will hold on Thursday, January 8, 2026.

According to an official notice issued by the Office of the Registrar and dated December 23, 2025, the ceremony is scheduled to take place at the University Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall by 10:00 a.m. The announcement is directed at all fresh students of the institution.
The University stated that participation in the matriculation exercise is strictly contingent on the completion of registration and documentation. All newly admitted students are therefore required to finalize their registration at their respective departments and the Admission Office on or before Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

FUKashere further disclosed that matriculating students are to pay a sum of ₦2,000.00 for the hire of academic gowns and the issuance of matriculation oath forms. The payment is to be made via Remita and verified at the Cash Office of the Bursary Department. Students are expected to present evidence of payment to their Faculty Officers before academic gowns and oath forms can be issued. Collection of gowns and oath forms will commence on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.
The University also emphasized that all hired academic gowns, along with duly completed matriculation oath forms, must be returned to Faculty Officers on or before Monday, January 12, 2026. Any student who fails to return the academic gown within the stipulated period will incur a penalty of ₦1,000.00 for each day of default.
The notice was signed by the Registrar, Nasir Lawal Abdullahi, and copied to the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellors (Academics and Administration), University Librarian, Bursar, Deans, Heads of Departments, and other relevant officers.
Fresh students have been advised to strictly comply with the outlined guidelines to ensure smooth and successful participation in the matriculation ceremony.
