FUL Announces 14th Matriculation, Issues Urgent Notice to Fresh Students

The Federal University Lokoja (FUL) has announced that its 14th Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted students of the 2025/2026 academic session will hold on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the University Auditorium, College of Health Sciences (COHS) Campus, Lokoja.

The announcement was made in an internal memorandum dated January 12, 2026, issued by the Admissions Division of the Office of the Registrar and addressed to all fresh students through faculty officers.

The university warned that all newly admitted students who have not paid their school charges and completed their registration must do so on or before Sunday, January 25, 2026, or risk automatic withdrawal of their admission.

FUL also confirmed that matriculation gowns will be made available from Wednesday, January 28, 2026, through Departmental Administrative Officers, and will be issued strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.

The university further stated that all gowns must be returned in good condition on or before 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026, adding that defaulters will be charged a ₦5,000 penalty for late return.
