FUL to introduce Doctor of Pharmacy program in 2024 as Vice Chancellor receives program curriculum.

The Management of Federal University Lokoja (FUL) has unveiled its plan to establish a Doctor of Pharmacy Program and is prepared to admit the inaugural cohort of students in 2024, contingent upon a successful Resource Assessment by the National Universities Commission (NUC) scheduled for February next year.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi made the announcement during the curriculum presentation jointly submitted by Professors Ehinmidu O. Joseph from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, and Momoh Mumini Audu from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).

The team, led by the Director of Academic Planning, Professor Hadi Ahmed Suberu, presented the finalized document to the VC along with some members of Management, providing a crucial guide for the University Management in ensuring a successful launch of the new program at FUL.

In his comments, Professor Akinwumi expressed his satisfaction.
