The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, has commended the Rotaract Club of the University for their dedication to humanitarian services, peace promotion, and development.

The commendation was made during a courtesy visit by the club's officials, led by Professor Emmanuel Kwon Ndung, President of the Rotary Club, Lafia Central.

The Rotaract Club seeks to partner with FULafia on humanitarian projects, including a health outreach program. The Vice-Chancellor expressed appreciation for the club's plans, noting that such initiatives would benefit both the University community and surrounding areas.

Professor Abdul Rahman assured the club of the University's support, highlighting the shared values of service, discipline, and academic excellence. He encouraged the club to involve more students in meaningful social activities and service to society.

The President of the FULafia Chapter of the Rotaract Club, Rotaractor Moyinoluwa Olugbemi, highlighted the club's recent achievements, including winning a ₦200,000 grand prize at a district-level grant training seminar. She appealed for support and publicity for the club's community-focused projects.
