FULafia partners National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) for development

The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, recently, paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), Abuja, Dr Faisal Shuaibu.

The visit was aimed at exploring collaborative opportunities between the Federal University of Lafia FULafia and NPHCDA.

Abdul Rahman was represented at the visit by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research and Partnership, Professor Usman Samaila Dakyes, who led other officials from the University.

Abdul Rahman thanked the executive director, Shuaibu, for the warm welcome he accorded them to his office, saying that the visit was a remarkable occasion for the University. 

Abdul Rahman commended Shuaibu for his commitment and support to humanitarian services, urging him to continue.

He promised that the University would continue to maintain the already established friendship with the NPHCDA.

Speaking, the Executive Director, National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Faisal Shuaibu, appreciated the vice-chancellor and members of his team for their visit to his office, saying that his agency was happy to work with the University for the benefits of humanity.

Shuaibu saluted the team, under the leadership of Dakyes, for the visit, promising that his agency would assist FULafia in many areas including the provision of medical facilities and services, capacity building, scholarship, research and trainings.

Other members of the delegation were the Director, Linkages and Advancement, Dr. Kabiru Muhammad Dahiru, the Alumni Relations Officer, Mr Abdullahi Sadiq, and Haliru Suleiman.
