FULafia Vice-Chancellor Lectures HODs on Effective Leadership

Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), has urged heads of departments to excel in their leadership roles during a recent interactive session.
In his presentation titled “Administrative Principles and Management Tools for Leadership in an Organisation,” Professor Abdul Rahman emphasized the need for strategic, organized, and dynamic leadership to achieve desired outcomes. He highlighted the importance of the University’s core values—integrity, innovation, and excellence—and stressed transparency and accountability.
The Vice-Chancellor also advised HODs to set high standards, understand their teams, and manage both themselves and their teams effectively.
Professor Amos Idzi Ambo, Chairman of the Organising Committee, praised the Vice-Chancellor for his commitment to staff development through such educational events, urging participants to apply the insights gained to enhance their performance.
