FUNAAB Alumna Professor Flora Tobolayefa Appointed Vice-Chancellor of Nigeria Maritime University

Professor Flora Tobolayefa Oluwafemi, a distinguished academic and former Head of the Department of Microbiology at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has been appointed Vice-Chancellor of the Nigeria Maritime University (NMU).

Professor Oluwafemi is renowned for her scholarly contributions and administrative acumen. She previously served as the Pioneer Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) at NMU, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the academic structure and laying a solid foundation for excellence.

Professor Oluwafemi is an alumna of the prestigious Galilee International Management Institute in Israel and the Founding Vice-President of the Nigerian Mycotoxin Study Group. Her research focuses on food safety and public health.
