FUNAAB Safety Club Inducts New Members, Swears in New Executives

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Safety Club held its Passing Out Parade and Induction Ceremony on June 5, 2025. The event marked the induction of new members and the formal inauguration of newly elected officers.

The Cadet-in-Chief, Cadet Omosewa Soyinka, expressed gratitude to God and appreciated the dedication and resilience of all cadets throughout their training journey. She highlighted the club's recent achievements, including the renovation of the Command's base, procurement of new training equipment, and organization of a camping exercise for members.

The ceremony saw the induction of two new members, Maurice Solomon and Popoola Victor, into the Safety Club. The newly appointed executives were also sworn in, with Cadet Omosewa Soyinka as Cadet-in-Chief, Ajayi Olawunmi as Deputy Cadet-in-Chief, and Adeniyi Solomon as Chief Provost Marshal.

The event was attended by the Staff Adviser to the FUNAAB Safety Club, Mrs. Olukemi Fashina, and representatives from other institutions. The ceremony marked another milestone in the Club's mission to promote safety consciousness and civic responsibility within the University Community.
