FUNAAB Senate Approves Late Professor Asiribo Prize for Best Graduating Student in Statistics

The University Senate of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has announced the establishment of the Late Prof. Ebenezer Asiribo Prize. This endowment, amounting to One Hundred Thousand Naira (₦100,000.00), will be awarded annually to the Best Graduating Student in the Department of Statistics, starting from the 2023/2024 Academic Session. The prize is set to continue for a duration of 10 years.
Prof. Ebenezer Asiribo, a former esteemed member of the academic community at FUNAAB, is honored through this initiative to recognize and encourage academic excellence within the Department of Statistics. The prize aims to motivate students to strive for outstanding academic performance and leadership in their field of study.
