FUNAAB Unveils Guidelines for Inter-University Transfer Applications
The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has released new guidelines for students from other universities who wish to transfer their studies to the institution.
The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has released new guidelines for students from other universities who wish to transfer their studies to the institution. The announcement was made in a release signed by Dr. Abdussobur Salaam, Deputy Registrar I, Senate and Admissions.
According to the university, only students currently enrolled in recognized Nigerian universities with admissions sanctioned by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) are eligible to apply for Inter-University Transfers.
Prospective transfer students must meet specific academic criteria, including a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00 for Agricultural programmes and 3.50 for Engineering and Science programmes, based on a 5.00-point grading scale. The CGPA must reflect the candidate’s performance up to the second semester of the current academic session. Additionally, applicants are required to send their academic transcripts to the Registrar of FUNAAB and pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦20,000, inclusive of REMITA charges.
Interested candidates can access the Inter-University Transfer Form through the FUNAAB admissions portal at admission.funaab.edu.ng. After reviewing the application instructions, candidates can log in using their JAMB registration number from their admission letters. Once the form is completed, it must be printed and submitted to the Senate and Admissions Unit for further processing.
