FUTA-ES Iyin Ekiti Opens Admission for 2025/2026 Pre-Degree Programme

The Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences (FUTA-ES), Iyin Ekiti, through its Directorate of Pre-Degree Programme (DPP), has officially announced the commencement of admissions into its Pre-Degree Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The Pre-Degree Programme is designed to prepare prospective students for entry into degree programmes across four major fields: Natural and Applied Sciences; Engineering and Technology; Computing and Information Technology; and Environmental Sciences.

Available Programme Options

Natural and Applied Sciences
Courses offered include Animal and Environmental Biology, Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Forensic Science, Geology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Science Laboratory Technology, and Statistics.

Engineering and Technology
Programmes include Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering, and Computer Engineering.

Computing and Information Technology
Courses include Software Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Science, Information and Communication Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Geographic Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing.

Environmental Sciences
Programmes include Architecture, Building Technology, Environmental Chemistry and Toxicology, Environmental Science and Management, Estate Management, Forestry and Wildlife Management, Industrial Design, Quantity Surveying, Surveying and Geoinformatics, and Urban and Regional Planning.

Eligibility Requirements

Prospective candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE, NECO, or NABTEB examinations at not more than two sittings, including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and one other relevant subject.

Application Procedure

Interested and qualified candidates should visit the University website at www.futes.edu.ng to purchase and complete the application form. The form costs ₦15,000, payable via the Remita platform. Applicants are required to fill in their details, make payment online, and upload all necessary documents for admission processing.
