Samuel Emmanuel Oluwapelumi, an Industrial Mathematics student at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), has accomplished a remarkable feat by completing a four-day Math-A-Thon, totaling 84 hours of continuous mathematical tutorial sessions. The event concluded precisely at 12:04 on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the T.I Francis Auditorium on the FUTA campus.
Beginning his marathon tutorial sessions on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, Samuel dedicated himself tirelessly to teaching mathematics day and night, with only short breaks in between. Throughout the duration of the Math-A-Thon, he received immense support from his fellow students and the university community, ensuring his well-being with comprehensive medical assistance, including the provision of a standby ambulance.
