Federal University of Technology, Minna reveals a cutting-edge smart medical device for patient monitoring at the Clintonel Innovation Centre demo.
The Clintonel Innovation Centre (CIC) recently hosted an impressive project demonstration by students from the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA). The highlight of the event was the unveiling of a cutting-edge smart medical device designed to revolutionize patient care.
The smart device, developed as part of the students' final project, offers advanced features to enhance medical monitoring. Key functionalities include real-time monitoring and control of drip levels through a combination of actuators and sensors. In addition, the device tracks patients' heart rates (measured in beats per minute) and body temperature, ensuring comprehensive health monitoring.
This innovation, which promises to significantly improve patient management and treatment efficiency, was made possible with support from several esteemed organizations:
