GAPOSA Swears in SUG Caretaker Committee to Oversee 2024/2025 Elections

The Gateway (ICT) Polytechnic, Saapade, has inaugurated a new caretaker committee for its Student Union Government (SUG) to ensure effective governance and smooth conduct of the upcoming 2024/2025 SUG elections. The ceremony was overseen by Dr. Adedayo Musari, Dean of Students Affairs, who emphasized the committee's role in fostering a positive relationship between the management and the student body.

The event, held in the presence of key institutional figures including Deputy Rector Mr. Kolawole Ogunyinka, Acting Registrar Dr. Julius Popoola, Director of Academic Planning Unit Mr. Emmanuel Oladapo Solaru, Sub Dean Mr. Opaleye Oladotun, and Principal Assistant Registrar (General Admin) Mrs. Oloruntoba Janet, highlighted the importance of integrity and unity in the new executive team.

Mr. Ogunyinka, representing Rector Dr. Sanni Kehinde Oseni, urged the committee members to perform their duties with utmost credibility and collaborate effectively for the advancement of the institution.

• Social Director: Adesanya Qudus
• Sports Directors: Raheem Ridwan, Adewumi Adeleke
• Welfare Officers: Akanji Aishat, Marcarthy Emmanuel, Adekunbe Blessing
• Financial Secretary 2: Adefeyinwa Adewale

This newly formed committee will play a crucial role in ensuring a fair and transparent election process while fostering a productive environment within the student union.
