The Management of Topfaith University has received donation of engineering equipment from a German based company known as Rohde & Schwarz (R&S), Myschoolnews gathered.

The Dean of Faculty of Computing and Applied Sciences, Professor Nsikak U. Benson presented the donated equipment, an FPC spectrum analyzer with a generator, to the management board of the University.

A reception ceremony was held at the Vice-Chancellor’s Conference Room in the presence of the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Dr. Emmanuel T. Abraham, Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patrick J. Ebewo, Acting Registrar, Engr. Dr. Etimbuk E. Abraham, the Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Enoima Abraham, The Dean, Faculty of Computing and Applied Sciences, Professor Nsikak U. Benson, the Acting Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Associate Professor Ekikere U. Udo and other officials of the university.

The Vice-Chancellor commended the collaborative efforts of the Dean of Computing and Applied Sciences and expressed hope in the research exploitation of the university in the future. In his remarks, the Chairman, Board of Trustees also expressed excitement on the research commitments of the collaborating team and reiterated Management’s commitment to continuous support for the promotion of research efforts of the university.

On behalf of the members of the Faculty of Engineering who will also be among the primary users of the equipment, Associate Professor Udo expressed gratitude to Rohde & Schwarz (R&S) Germany for the donation.

The Chairman of the University’s Research and Innovation Committee, Dr. Nnanake-Abasi O. Offiong, expressed optimism of an impactful research period from the established collaboration.
