The Rector of Gombe State Polytechnic, Bajoga, Dr. Abbas Umar Farouq, has conducted an extensive inspection tour of academic departments, administrative units, and ongoing projects as part of efforts to enhance academic excellence, institutional efficiency, and infrastructural development.

The inspection was aimed at assessing academic and administrative activities across the institution, evaluating the progress of ongoing projects, and identifying operational challenges to improve service delivery and overall institutional performance.

During the visit, Dr. Farouq toured several departments and units, where he interacted with Heads of Departments and directors to discuss their activities, achievements, and areas requiring attention.

The Rector emphasized that regular monitoring and evaluation are crucial to maintaining high academic standards, improving administrative efficiency, and ensuring that projects are executed according to approved specifications and timelines.

He also inspected a number of ongoing construction and renovation projects within the Polytechnic and expressed satisfaction with the quality of work and the level of progress recorded so far.
