Gregory University recently hosted its 10th Inaugural Lecture, an event that not only showcased academic excellence but also marked significant leadership changes within the institution. The lecture, delivered by Prof. Isaac Lasbrey Ihekwoaba, Professor of Theatre and Media Studies, was titled "Advertising Trajectory: Demystifying the Myth and Plugging Economic Waste." It attracted a large audience of academics, students, and dignitaries eager to engage with the insightful discourse.
Prof. Ihekwoaba's lecture delved into the evolution of advertising, addressing common misconceptions and highlighting strategies to improve economic efficiency through strategic advertising. His analysis emphasized the crucial role of advertising in reducing economic waste and bolstering economic growth, offering a fresh perspective on the industry's impact on society.

Prof. Celestina Njoku, previously the Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies, was named the Acting Vice-Chancellor.
