IG Aguowo Foundation Announces 2024 Scholarship Program for Nigerian Students

The IG Aguowo Health and Academic Foundation has officially announced applications for its esteemed scholarship program for the year 2024, offering a beacon of hope to indigent and talented students across Nigeria.

During a press conference held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) secretariat in Awka, the foundation's executive secretary, Ms. Peace Chukwu, announced that the application window commenced on June 3, and will remain open until June 28.

Ms. Chukwu emphasized the foundation's commitment to nurturing the academic pursuits of Nigerian youth, stating, "IG Aguowo Health and Academic Foundation currently supports 350 beneficiaries and aims to add 200 more beneficiaries this year, bringing the total to 550 by the end of 2024."

The scholarship program is designed to encompass a wide range of educational levels, from Junior Secondary School (JS1 to JS3), Senior Secondary School (SS1 to SS3), to students enrolled in tertiary institutions. This includes Federal and State Universities, Colleges of Education, Polytechnics, Nursing schools, and other related institutions.
