IMAP to Provide Hostel Accommodation for Female Students – Director of Information Confirms
Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic (IMAP) in Lafia has announced that hostel accommodations will be allocated to female students this semester, prioritizing their safety and welfare.
Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic (IMAP) in Lafia has reaffirmed its commitment to providing hostel accommodation for female students, beginning this semester. The announcement was made by Mukhtar Wakeel, the institution’s Director of Information, Public Relations, and Protocol, during an interview held with a group of Mass Communication students in his office.
Wakeel confirmed that classes have resumed for the semester, and emphasized that the allocation of hostel spaces to female students is a priority for the polytechnic. This initiative is in line with the dedication of the Acting Rector, Dr. Nurudeen Mu'azu Maifata, to enhancing student welfare.
Both male and female students will have access to on-campus accommodation, but Wakeel noted that priority will be given to female students due to their specific safety needs. He stated that allocations will follow a first-come, first-served basis, to ensure fairness and avoid favoritism.
The Director reiterated that the school is fully committed to fostering a secure and conducive environment for all students, and that measures are in place to address any security concerns related to student accommodations.
