UNILORIN's 2024 University Lecture was delivered by Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, with a special Festschrift event scheduled for October 10 in his honour.

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) hosted its highly anticipated 2024 University Lecture today, delivered by Professor Is-haq Olanrewaju Oloyede, CON, who currently serves as the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and was UNILORIN’s 8th Vice Chancellor.
The lecture, which drew considerable attention, reflects the institution's commitment to intellectual excellence.
Looking ahead, the university is preparing for a special event on Thursday, October 10, 2024. As part of the KU8+ project, UNILORIN will host a Festschrift in honour of Prof. Oloyede, marking his 70th birthday. The event will feature a public lecture and a special book presentation, celebrating his contributions to education and leadership.
The event is scheduled to take place at the University Auditorium, starting at 10:00 am. Attendees are encouraged to arrive punctually to join in commemorating Prof. Oloyede’s legacy.
