Kaduna State University Holds Inaugural Allied Health Sciences Student Week

Kaduna State University launched its inaugural Student Week for the Association of Allied Health Science Students (AHSSA) on Wednesday, 25th September 2024, with a symposium themed "The Role of Allied Health Science in Healthcare Delivery: Challenges and Opportunities." The event, held at the Pharmacy 500-seater Auditorium, attracted prominent academic figures and students.
Prof. Ahmed Rufai Yusuf, Registrar of the Medical Rehabilitation Therapist Board, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the critical role of Allied Health Sciences in healthcare. Other distinguished attendees included Prof. J.A. Onaolapo, Provost of the College of Allied Health and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Prof. Adamu Ahmed Rufai, Dean of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences.
