Kaduna State University Hosts 2nd International Conference on Cross-Cultural Research in the Digital Era

Kaduna State University (KASU) recently held its 2nd International Research Culture Conference on September 5-6, 2024, under the theme "Cross-Cultural Research Methodologies and Approaches in the Digital Age." The event aimed to advance research practices in the contemporary digital landscape.

The conference was convened by Prof. Hauwa'u Evelyn Yusuf, Special Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor on Research Culture, and opened by Prof. Helen Afang Andow, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Strategy, Innovation, and Service Delivery. The keynote address was delivered by Prof. Okpe Ochai Okpe from Federal University Lafiya, who emphasized the importance of research driving positive societal change.

The conference featured four key presentations from experts in various fields, including:

- Dr. Asmau Ahmed Mukhtar (KASU) on digital tools and innovative research methodologies

- Dr. Ahmed Adamu Chiroma (Presidential Think-Tank on Defence and Security) on challenges and opportunities in cross-cultural research methodologies
