The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) is honoring Khadijah for her outstanding academic and professional achievements, after she emerged as the Best Graduating Student (BGS) in the Department of Biomedical Engineering for the 2024/2025 session.

Khadijah completed her degree with an exceptional Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.81/5.00, earning First Class Honours and receiving several prestigious national awards.

Her brilliance was formally recognized on Monday, January 26, 2026, by leading engineering organizations:

  • Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE): Presented Khadijah with the Distinguished Award as Best Graduating Student and the Award of Excellence in Design and Modelling.

  • Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE): Named her the overall Best Graduating Student in Biomedical Engineering at UNILORIN.
