KHAIRUN and Sule Lamido University Explore Strategic ICT Partnership to Drive Digital Innovation

A delegation from Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN) paid a courtesy and working visit to Sule Lamido University, Kafin Hausa, on Tuesday, 23rd December, 2025, as part of efforts to strengthen inter institutional collaboration in Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

The delegation was led by the Ag. Director, Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Directorate, Malama Amina Yusuf Umar. The visit aimed at exploring opportunities for partnership and collaboration between KHAIRUN and the ICT Department of Sule Lamido University, with a focus on enhancing digital infrastructure and service delivery within the university system.

During the visit, the KHAIRUN team was taken through an overview of Sule Lamido University’s ICT infrastructure, where both institutions engaged in experience sharing on best practices in ICT management and deployment. The engagement also featured interactive sessions and extensive discussions on areas of mutual interest, including capacity building, joint research, knowledge exchange, and sustainable ICT development initiatives.

The visit underscored the shared commitment of both universities to leveraging technology for academic excellence, research advancement, and efficient administration. It is expected that the discussions will pave the way for future collaborations that will contribute significantly to the growth and modernization of ICT operations in both institutions.
