KHAIRUN University Kano Takes Off in February, 2024, Says VC Abdulrashid Garba

In a recent update, Vice Chancellor Abdulrashid Garba announced that KHAIRUN University, Kano, is all set to kick off its academic journey in February 2024.

The university will debut with three faculties and a dozen programs, spanning Allied Health Sciences, Engineering, and Science & Computing.

Expressing gratitude to former NUC Executive Secretary, Professor Abubakar Adamu Rasheed, for his pivotal role in the university's establishment, Professor Garba shared the university's plans. The Senate is scheduled for inauguration on January 29, 2024, followed by the commencement of academic activities on February 2, 2024.

Professor Rasheed, a former Vice Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano, welcomed the news with enthusiasm. He emphasized the significance of discipline, standards, and quality in the success of the budding university. As a mentor and leader, he pledged support, envisioning KHAIRUN University's future competitiveness on a global scale.
