Kogi State Polytechnic to Commence Degree Programmes with Federal University Lokoja

Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federal University Lokoja (FUL) to commence degree programmes in affiliation with the university.

The agreement establishes a Study Centre at the Polytechnic Main Campus, Lokoja, for regular undergraduate degree and Top-Up programmes.

The partnership will enable students to pursue degree programmes through UTME and Direct Entry modes, while also facilitating the conversion of Higher National Diploma (HND) certificates into corresponding undergraduate degree programmes. The MoU also covers staff and student exchange programmes and equipment sharing to strengthen joint research and collaborative learning initiatives.

The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic and the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja have expressed their commitment to implementing the agreement, which aims to advance education in Kogi State and Nigeria.
