Kwara State University Inducts 202 Environmental Health Scientists into National Council

The second oath-taking and induction ceremony, held at the institution, marked a crucial step forward for these graduates in their professional journey.

The acting vice-chancellor, Prof. Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, emphasized the importance of upholding professional ethics and tirelessly working to protect and promote environmental health. Prof. Jimoh challenged the inductees to develop innovative solutions to mitigate climate change impacts, promote sustainable development, and safeguard vulnerable populations from environmental hazards. Representing the registrar of the Environmental Health Council of Nigeria, Mr. Zakariyah Aliyu, Dr. Yakubu Muhammed Baba commended Kwara State University for its dedication to advancing environmental health education.
