KWASU Appoints Dr. Rahman Oladimeji Mustapha as Acting Dean of Faculty of Management and Social Sciences

The Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU), Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, has approved the appointment of Dr. Rahman Oladimeji Mustapha as the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences. The official notice was signed by KWASU Registrar Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee and cited Dr. Mustapha’s extensive experience and leadership skills as the basis for his selection.

Dr. Mustapha is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business and Entrepreneurship and also serves as the Director of KWASU’s Centre for Investment and Consultancy Services (CICS). He is well-regarded in his field, holding several prestigious positions, including Fellow and State Coordinator at the Institute of Creative and Innovative Management of Nigeria and Chairman of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, Ilorin Chapter.

A respected figure in academia and management, Dr. Mustapha is also a Fellow and Council Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management. His professional affiliations extend internationally as a member of the British Academy of Management, Birmingham, UK, and he is affiliated with the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria and the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).

Dr. Mustapha’s appointment as Acting Dean is seen as a strategic move by KWASU to strengthen the faculty and leverage his experience in furthering the university's goals in management and social sciences.
