KWASU Celebrates Promotion of Five New Professors with Grand Reception

Kwara State University (KWASU) celebrated the promotion of five distinguished professors with a grand reception held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. The event was a testament to the university's commitment to recognizing and supporting academic excellence.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, praised the newly promoted professors for their achievements, noting that their promotions signify a pivotal moment for both their personal careers and the university's academic environment. “These promotions mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter for both the professors and KWASU. Their collective expertise will undoubtedly drive academic progress and enhance student learning,” Professor Jimoh stated. He emphasized that the promotions were earned strictly on merit and expressed the university's high expectations for their continued excellence.
The Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies, Professor Olawale Mashood Aliyu, and the Director of Academic Planning, Professor Emmanuel Ajani, also addressed the attendees. They congratulated the new professors and encouraged them to continue their dedication to academic excellence.
