Lagos State College of Nursing (LASCON) Releases Admission Form for 2024/2025 Session

 The Lagos State College of Nursing (LASCON), Igando, has announced the release of its admission form for the 2024/2025 academic session. Suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply for the Computer Assisted Screening (CAS) examination for the National Diploma (ND) Programme.

Admission Requirements:

JAMB:

• Candidates must have scored 200 and above in the recent JAMB examination and chosen LASCON as their first choice.

WASSCE/NECO (O’ Level):

• Candidates must have at least a credit in five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry at no more than two (2) sittings.

• Starts: Monday, 1st July 2024
• Ends: Friday, 16th August 2024

Study Period:

• 5 Years

Programme:

• Non-terminal Nursing Programme leading to Academic and Professional Certificates (ND/RN/RM/PHN).

Method of Application:

1. Proceed to www.lascon.edu.ng.
2. Click on the Course menu, then click on Apply.
3. Create a new application account by filling in the required details: Surname, First name, Select Course, Email address, Phone number, and JAMB registration number.
4. Click on “Submit.” A confirmation email will be sent with a payment link, Admission Number, and password.
5. Follow the link in the email to the payment page.
6. Make a non-refundable payment of N15,000 via Paystack or Voucher.
7. After payment, log in with your Application Number and Password to complete your application.

• Venue: LASCON Premises (inside Alimosho General Hospital, Igando)

Exam Format:

• Computer-Based Testing covering English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and Current Affairs.

Notes:

• The programme is residential, and there are no cooking facilities.
• Accommodation is available on a first-come, first-serve basis during the CAS, with limited spaces.
