LASU Alumna Makes History on Yoruba Game Show "Masoyinbo"

Lagos State University (LASU) alumna, Ayọka Roqeebat Kazeem, has emerged as the first-ever recipient of a brand-new car on the popular Yoruba language game show "Masoyinbo".

This achievement is a testament to her intellectual acumen and mastery of the Yoruba language, which she developed during her time at the university's Department of Linguistics, African Languages and Communication Arts.

As an undergraduate, Ayọka served as Secretary of the Yoruba and Linguistics Students’ Association, where she was recognized for her brilliance, leadership, and passion for promoting indigenous language and culture. Her success on "Masoyinbo" reflects not only her personal excellence but also the university's legacy of producing graduates who lead with knowledge, confidence, and cultural pride.
