Lagos State University (LASU) has officially announced the commencement of its Central Admissions Clearance (LACACA) exercise for candidates admitted into the Sandwich Degree Programme for the 2024 Modular Year. The online clearance process is mandatory for all admitted candidates and will determine their eligibility for matriculation.
The clearance exercise, facilitated through the LASU Central Admissions Clearance Application (LACACA), will ensure that successful candidates are assigned matriculation numbers. However, those who fail to complete the clearance process will forfeit their provisional admission.
LACACA Clearance Fee Payment Process
Admitted students must first pay the necessary clearance fees via the LASU e-payment portal before proceeding with the LACACA process. The payment steps include:

Visiting the LASU Consult website at lasu.edu.ng/consult.

Entering the Application Number in the designated field.

Providing a valid email address and phone number.

Clicking "Continue" to proceed with the payment.
Step-by-Step Guide to Completing the LACACA Process
After payment, candidates must follow these steps to complete their admission clearance:

Visit the LASU website at lasu.edu.ng.

Click on the STUDENT tab and select SANDWICH LACACA.

Enter the 2024 Modular Year Sandwich Application Number and surname, then click "Submit."
Once logged in, candidates are required to:

Validate their bio-data information.

Confirm their disability status.

Upload O’Level scratch card details.

Provide their original birth certificate.

Upload their Sandwich Admission Letter.

Upload a scanned signature.

Submit the application by checking the “I Agree” box and clicking "Submit."
Monitoring Clearance Progress
Upon submission, candidates will initially attain a 20% clearance status, pending verification by university officials. Candidates must regularly check their dashboard for updates and address any flagged issues. Those with errors requiring correction will need to pay the applicable correction fees through the LASU payment portal.
Once clearance progress reaches 100%, successful candidates can print their LASU Admission Clearance Certificate and will be assigned a matriculation number.
