The Lagos State University (LASU) Department of Religions and Peace Studies is set to host a special Guest Lecture series on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. Themed "Beyond Mutual Distrust: Religion, Peace, and Our Common Futures," the event will take place at the Buba Marwa Auditorium on the main campus in Ojo, Lagos, starting at 11:00 a.m.

The lecture will be delivered by Professor I.O. Albert, FSPSP, the Pioneer Dean of the Faculty of Multidisciplinary Studies at the University of Ibadan. This significant academic event will be hosted by Professor T.M. Salisu, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at LASU, and co-hosted by Professor K.O. Paramole, FCAI, Head of the Department of Religions and Peace Studies. The Chief Host will be Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, fnli NPOM, FSPSP, Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University.
