 Lagos State University (LASU) will hold its 27th Convocation Ceremony on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024, at the Buba Marwa Auditorium Complex in Ojo, Lagos. The ceremony will begin at 10:00 am and will award diplomas, first degrees, postgraduate diplomas, and master's degrees to deserving graduands.

The event is part of the university's week-long convocation celebrations, which include a convocation lecture by Dr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, a former governor of Lagos State, on June 4th. The ceremony will mark a significant milestone for the graduands, who have completed their studies at LASU.

The university has achieved impressive rankings in the past year, maintaining its status as the best state university and the 9th overall best university in Nigeria, according to the AD Index Ranking. LASU has also been rated as the best university in West Africa in sustainability and green efforts since 2022.
