The Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), located in Oto/Ijanikin with a campus at Odo – Noforija, Epe, has officially reopened its online registration portal for the Post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session. The registration process commenced on Thursday, October 3, 2024.

Candidates interested in applying for admission into the university's undergraduate programs are encouraged to visit the official LASUED website at www.lasued.edu.ng for comprehensive details. Applicants are required to upload all necessary credentials online.

Application Details

LASUED invites applications from qualified candidates seeking admission through both UTME and Direct Entry into various undergraduate programs. To be eligible for the online screening exercise, candidates must have selected LASUED as their preferred institution in the 2024/2025 UTME and Direct Entry and obtained a minimum score of 170, alongside the requisite O’ level credits as outlined in the JAMB brochure.

Additionally, all Direct Entry candidates, especially those holding NCE qualifications, who have chosen LASUED as their first choice in the 2024/2025 Direct Entry exercise with the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), are also eligible to participate in the online screening.

Candidates must be at least sixteen years old by October 31, 2024, and those who have not uploaded their O’ level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) by September 30, 2024, will not be considered for admission.

Requirements

Prospective students must possess five credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS, or GCE O’ level, at no more than two sittings. Furthermore, candidates must have participated in the 2024 UTME and achieved a score of 170 and above.

  • College of Humanities Education (COHED): Programs in History, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Studies, Fine Arts, Music, and Theatre & Performing Arts.
