Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) is gearing up to welcome officials from the National Universities Commission (NUC) for a crucial resource assessment visit scheduled for July 8th and 9th, 2024. This assessment visit aims to evaluate the readiness of LASUSTECH to introduce a new B.Sc programme in Biochemistry.
RECOMMENDED: LASUSTECH to Commence Indigeneship Verification Exercise
The NUC officials, expected to arrive on Monday, July 8th, 2024, will engage in a comprehensive review of the university's preparedness and resources earmarked for the proposed Biochemistry programme. The assessment will include an evaluation of facilities, faculty expertise, and other essential requirements necessary to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the academic offering.
Professor Olumuyiwa Odusanya, the Vice Chancellor of LASUSTECH, expressed optimism about the university's readiness and emphasized the significance of expanding academic offerings in line with current educational demands and industry needs.
