Prince Oyelade reflected on LAUTECH's journey, highlighting a remarkable turnaround in the last two years. He credited Governor Seyi Makinde for playing a pivotal role in restoring the university's past glory, emphasizing the commitment to educational excellence.

Governor Makinde's efforts included negotiating an N8 billion severance agreement with Osun State, making Oyo State the sole owner of LAUTECH. This strategic move allowed the state to consolidate its ambitions for the institution and expand its academic offerings with the establishment of the Faculty of Agriculture and Renewal Science in Iseyin last year.

He expressed confidence that LAUTECH would continue to be a source of pride for Nigeria and Africa.

The recognition comes as a testament to LAUTECH's commitment to academic excellence and its significant strides under Governor Seyi Makinde's administration.
