Governor Makinde's efforts included negotiating an N8 billion severance agreement with Osun State, making Oyo State the sole owner of LAUTECH. This strategic move allowed the state to consolidate its ambitions for the institution and expand its academic offerings with the establishment of the Faculty of Agriculture and Renewal Science in Iseyin last year.
