Maduka University has launched its Entrepreneurship and Innovation Hub, focusing on equipping students with diverse practical skills, for total entrepreneurial development.

Maduka University has taken a huge step towards fostering entrepreneurship and innovation with the launch of its Entrepreneurship and Innovation Hub (EIH). This initiative reinforces the university's commitment to becoming a leading entrepreneurship and resource center in the South East and Nigeria at large.
The EIH is structured into four pivotal units: Innovation and Research Centre, ICT and Technical Support Unit, Entrepreneurship Training and Consulting Unit, and Skills and Development Unit. It aims to equip students with a diverse array of practical skills ranging from solar engineering to fashion design, ensuring holistic development and readiness for the dynamic business landscape.
Dr. Sam Maduka Onyishi, Chancellor of Maduka University, emphasized the importance of integrity and ethical conduct in business during his keynote address titled "Necessity as the Mother of Entrepreneurs" at the Start-Up Hangout event. He shared personal insights and announced plans to establish an investment platform aimed at nurturing financial literacy among students.

Furthermore, Maduka University plans strategic partnerships with industry giants such as CISCO and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) to provide students with certification in digital skills and chartered accountancy, enhancing their employability and entrepreneurial potential.
Mrs. Chinyere Otuonye highlighted the significance of access to business financing and grants, advocating for meticulous preparation and industry-specific grant applications. She outlined practical steps for entrepreneurs to secure funding, emphasizing the role of local business support associations and structured business planning.
