Mechatronics Students Showcase Innovative Tech Solutions at 3rd Final-Year Project Exhibition

The Department of Mechatronics Engineering, College of Engineering, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), recently hosted the 3rd edition of its Annual Final-Year Project Exhibition.

The event featured a diverse range of innovative projects developed by final-year students, showcasing their technical prowess and creativity in addressing real-world challenges.

The exhibition showcased various prototypes and devices that incorporated cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Some of the notable projects included AI-powered drones for precision farming, autonomous drones for mail delivery, smart energy systems, facial recognition-based attendance systems, IoT-driven robotic arms, assistive technology for the visually impaired, and smart water purification systems.

The projects demonstrated the department's commitment to fostering problem-solving and innovation-driven education that aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The exhibition highlighted the potential of youth-led innovation in driving technological advancement and sustainability.
