Meet Adedoyin Adeyemi, who emerged as the Second Overall Best Graduating Student at Adeleke University

She bagged a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with First Class Honours and a stellar cumulative grade point average of 4.98 out of 5.00 during the 2024 academic session.

While reflecting on her journey, she said this achievement is more than a certificate and a gown. It's a reflection of the quiet sacrifices, self-discipline, and resilience that have shaped her journey.

Her reading strategy wasn't conventional. She didn’t spend all her time in the library, though she visited often. She mostly learnt by combining different methods such as reading and writing repeatedly, and explaining concepts aloud—either to herself or someone else.

This one habit of treating every topic like she was teaching made all the difference.

She remarked that there were challenging days and moments of self-doubt. But she stayed consistent, reminded herself why she started in the first place, and kept going.
