Mekelle University Empowers Academic Staff Through Project Development Capacity-Building Training

Mekelle University is currently hosting a brief professional development training titled “From Ideas to Funded Projects: A Practical Brief Training for Academic Staff” at the FGPS Resource Center, Adi-Haqi Campus.

The training is being delivered by Dr. Hailemariam Meaza (PhD) and is organized by the Postgraduate and Research Office of the Faculty of Governance and Peace Studies, College of Social Sciences and Humanities. The session is designed to strengthen the capacity of academic staff to transform research and development ideas into competitive, externally funded projects.

Participants from different departments are actively engaged in discussions, proposal design exercises, and practical reflections on how to align their academic work with donor priorities, national needs, and post-conflict recovery priorities.
