Minister Hails Bayero Varsity for Contributions to Education Sector

The Minister of Education, Prof. Mamman Tahir, has applauded Bayero University, Kano (BUK), for its significant contributions to the development of the education sector.
Tahir expressed his commendation while inaugurating the Center for Teaching, Learning, Reading, and Research Development, along with other notable facilities at the institution.

The newly inaugurated centers include the Teaching and Learning Center, Micro Teaching Laboratory, Department of Anatomy, and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, among others.

In response, the Vice Chancellor of Bayero University, Prof. Sagir Abbas, lauded the Teaching and Learning Center as one of the best globally. He extended gratitude to the government for its support in ensuring the timely completion of the center in 2022.
Prof. Abbas emphasized the significance of the Micro Teaching Laboratory in providing students with essential skills in managing their professional calling, particularly in the field of education.
