Modibbo Adama University Yola Matriculates 5,297 Undergraduate Students

Modibbo Adama University, Yola (MAU Yola), recently welcomed 5,297 new undergraduate students to its community through a matriculation ceremony. The event marked the official beginning of the students' academic journey in the 2024/2025 academic session.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibrahim Umar, charged the students to shun all forms of misconduct, including cultism, examination malpractice, and violence, emphasizing the university's zero-tolerance policy. He advised the students to stay focused, abide by the rules and regulations, and take advantage of the university's resources to develop their skills and character.

Prof. Umar stressed that education goes beyond acquiring knowledge and that the university is committed to molding students into responsible, knowledgeable, and ethical members of society. He encouraged the students to uphold the values and principles of the university.
